Partner With Us

No single organization can connect a whole shoreline to its waters. We work alongside schools, towns, conservation groups and local businesses so that more people can learn, explore and care for the River and the Sound.

Who we partner with

Partners across the shoreline

Every partnership is shaped around what you hope to achieve and who you serve.

  • Schools & educators

Field experiences and classroom programs that bring the estuary into learning.

  • Municipalities

Programs that help residents know and care for their town’s waterfront and open spaces.

  • Conservation & land trusts

Guided, observation-only experiences that build support for protected places.

  • Maritime businesses

Sharing the working waterfront, its skills and its careers with the next generation.

  • Corporate community impact

Meaningful local programs your team can sponsor, support and be proud of.

  • Tourism & hospitality

Authentic shoreline experiences to share with visitors and guests.

Partnership models

Start small, grow together

We believe in building before expanding. Many partnerships begin with a pilot and grow from there.

Pilot

Try a single program or a short run together, then decide what comes next.

Seasonal

A series of programs over a season, such as summer walks or a winter lab series.

Annual program

A year-round commitment to a program or audience, planned together in advance.

Site

Your place becomes a regular home or field site for River2Sound programs.

Educational

Shared learning goals, with curriculum, materials or training developed together.

What we offer and what we may ask

What we bring

  • Hands-on, place-based programs designed for your audience
  • Trained volunteer leaders and an observation-only wildlife ethic
  • Clear planning, communication and follow-up
  • Honest recognition, agreed with you in advance

What we may ask

  • A venue, field site or meeting place
  • Help reaching your students, residents, members or guests
  • Expertise, volunteers or in-kind support
  • Sponsorship that keeps programs within reach of every family

Sponsorship

Sponsorship keeps programs affordable and helps us reach families who might not otherwise come. Opportunities range from supporting a single community program to presenting a full year of education.
